WEATHER
CONDITIONS
Weather conditions: |
| Spring started early according to reports of local residents, but then cold weather returned with frost and snow. Accordingly already arrived in mass geese had to go back to the south. Afterwards, when warm weather established only small wandering groups of geese were observed, while most of them did not nest, and presumably moved northeastward to Taimyr. Gydansky Bay cleared from ice near Gyda settlement aroud 25 June.
